Hydrogen Peroxide!

Yup, hydrogen Peroxide, in my opinion, is the BEST cleaning product ever! I use it in the kitchen everyday. Cleans my pots and pans, my cookie sheets and my stove and microwave. I even use in on my counters and sink.

What is Hydrogen Peroxide exactly?

During the last couple days I wanted to know more on how this stuff works and what it really is. I was so astounded by the results I came up with. First of all it’s cheap, the bottle in the pic was only $1 at DG, it’s safe and you can get it from practically any where.

When I am cleaning the kitchen the kids just love to watch it bubble up. The best thing is this stuff really cleans and makes clean up a whole heck of a lot easier! The kids also use it on their scrapes from falling on their knees. The bubbles infatuate them and don’t even notice the sting.

Oxygen Water? Yes, that is exactly what Hydrogen Peroxide is, oxygen water! It’s basically the same this as water except for the extra boost of oxygen atom or H2O2. This makes it break down quickly and harmlessly into water and oxygen, think OXI CLEAN!

Did you know?

Hydrogen peroxide is found in every living thing.
White blood cells naturally produce hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) to fight bacteria and infections.
Fruits and veggies natural produce it. So eat up, they are GOOD for you!
Scientist have also found a high amount of H2O2 in mother’s FIRST milk.
H2O2 is also found in rain water, which helps your plats grow healthy and strong!

Here is a list I found for uses of hydrogen peroxide. You will be speechless when you see what you can really do with this “miracle cleaner”.

1. Wash veggies and fruits with hydrogen peroxide. This will remove dirt and nasty pesticides that you wouldn’t want to consume, YUCK.
2. Add it to your dish washer as a sanatizing boost.
3. Use it as a mouthwash.
4. Soak your toothbrush in it after every use.
5. Clean your counters with it.
6. Clean out your fridge.
7. Clean your dish sponges.
8. Use H2O2 with baking soda to remove baked on food from your pots and pans.
9. Whiten bathtub grout.
10. Clean toliet bowls.
11. Removes stains from clothing.
12. Brighten floors.
13. Clean your children’s toys.
14. Add H2O2 to your water before you water your plants.
15. Spray on your hair for natural highlights.
16. Add some H2O2 to your bath to help detox the body.
17. Spray H2O2 on your salad before putting it in the fridge.
18. Use it for acne.
19. Helps removing fungus from feet.
20. Helps the healing process of minor open wounds.

So there you have it, 20 interesting ways you can use Hydrogen Peroxcide.
